Week 1: Getting Started
On Thursday I went back to the print studio to make my first prints. Carolynn Platt met me there and showed me around the studio, and I tried my best to remember how to make prints.
I tried my hand at making some stenciled monotype valentine’s cards. These didn’t turn out so well, and the next day I noticed that a lot of the ink didn’t dry. I think this is a combination of not enough pressure and using dry paper, so my next step is to run a bunch of monotypes and figure out how to make good looking prints.
The prints came out kind of wonky
